New POH Advisory Council

Categories:

We had an inaugural meeting of the new Project Open Hand Advisory Council on Tuesday, July 28.  It included Tom Nolan the longtime CEO of POH and past members of the Board of Directors.  They are part of POH’s rich legacy over the past 35 years and will continue to provide leadership and resources for Project Open Hand.  The past Board members, attending, including those that were past Chairs: Linda Glick, Karl Christiansen, Carmela Krantz, Nancy Bolmeier Fisher.  Current Board Chair, Mike Henry and Vice Chair Ruth Yankoupe facilitated the meeting joined with staff, POH CEO, Paul Hepfer and Amor Santiago. One focused area identified was the 35th Anniversary Gala scheduled for December 11.  As many nonprofit galas have gone virtual, the Advisory Council will work to ensure the event is engaging and successful in telling of Project Open Hand’s continued good work in the midst of this crisis.
